[Oops - title should have said Compute 35/41 !!]
Hi guys,
I found 4 or 5 Compute magazines in the loft, so here's a small batch of listings you're missing:
Air Defense - p 32, Issue 35, (Vol 5, No 4), April 1983 - Atari version by Charles Brannon, graphics by Harry Blair, and the article is credited as T. L. Wahl, so perhaps he wrote the first listed version (VIC20). You have a version of this, with the note "Missing Original Basic" file - so here's a proof-read one. Specifically, your version was missing the text for all comments, and had errors on lines 690 (one character wrong for the cityscape), a colon on 1100, and most importantly, 1120 has a 53744 instead of 57344 in a character set copy, so the score was not shown right.
Chutes - p86, Issue 35, (Vol 5, No 4), April 1983 by Matt Giwer. you have an entry, but no file. Pretty sure I've got this one double-checked - line 5037 looks like it has an obvious bug (C>255 OR C>255) - but I've kept it as printed, and I don't think it will make any difference.
Math Fun - p126, Issue 35, (Vol 5, No 4), April 1983 by Steven Neve - again, you have an entry, but no file.
Mosaic Puzzle - p90, Issue 41, (Vol 5, No. 10), October 1983 - the article is credited as Bruce Jordan, first listing VIC20, but Atari version is translated by Marc Sugiyama - again, you have an entry for this but no listing.
Hope that's useful - might be a couple more later.
Wes

Re: Air Defense, Chutes, Maths Fun, Mosaic Puzzle -Compute 3
Four more:
Dragonmaster - by Chris Metcalf, p56, Compute 41, Vol 5, No. 10 (Oct 1983) - you have a "Missing original BASIC file" comment - I've proof-read yours, and added in the missing contents. There's only one difference now between the printed magazine and your version: line 1070 has ":CC=0" on the end of yours, which wasn't on the original. I'm wondering whether there's a later "CAPUTE" column that suggests that fix, since it must have been added on purpose. (I haven't removed it)
Laser Gunner II - the author of the 2nd version is Thomas A. Marshall, p239, Compute 38, Vol 5, No. 7 (July 1983) - you have a "Missing original BASIC file" comment - but the file you've got is essentially version 1 I think - it doesn't have the VBI or any machine code, so here's the version from the magazine. It was reprinted in Compute's Third book of Atari - same code except for more comments on lines 1-7 - see atariarchives.org/c3ba/page216.php
Memory Trainer - by Harvey B. Herman, p112, Compute 37, Vol 5, No. 6 (June 1983) - you've got an entry, but no download. Here it is!
Crosswords - by William Loercher, p76, Compute 36, Vol 5, No. 5 (May 1983) - you've got an entry, but no download.
Hope that's useful again! (And maybe one day those Virgin games I typed in Jan 2013 could go online too.... just poking... I'm sure you'll get there!)
All the best,
Wes
