Looking for: Verticle Shooter with Killer Flowers

Hello: I am trying to find the name for this game:

You are a guy or creature with a jetpack that flies down these hallways (left or right) where you eventually have to find a trapdoor or opening. Sometimes the trapdoor opens but may be boobytrapped with a killer plant or flower looking creature that will get you by popping up from the floor. I remember you could shoot left and right and you could also land on the floor and walk. I think the flying creature was either a person or some type of animal. I have been looking for this game for over 20 years. If someone has a clue please advise.

Let me try another one. A game where you are running around a haunted mansion and the music that starts it off is I think the theme from Alfred Hitchcock. There are secret chambers around the mansion with giant rolling skulls and there are hedges around the mansion that you have to go around to get to...

Not sure about this.

The rolling skulls are there in Montezuma's Revenge, and the Funeral March of a Marionette "Hitchcock" music is in Shamus, although neither sounds like exactly what you describe.
