Hello everybody,
Today after my move from Paris to Marseille, i decided to try if my two 5200s still work. And i had a strange surprise...i think my 4 port switch burned..I have had a signal for few minutes and suddenly the console stop powered and smoke come from the switch !
I think the problem comes from the switch (the other switch is not working usually) because if two 5200s die on the same day it seems to be a very rare!
If somebody have a 4 port switch to exchange or to sell it will be helpfull !
Unless a fulll working 5200 will be good to test what the problem is?

Are you using a 110v PSU with a step-down transformer, or a 220-240v PSU?

Did the smoke come from the PSU, the transformer, or somewhere else?

It's very unlikely for 2 5200s to fail simultaneously, so it's probably a power supply problem.

I use actually the originals power supply with converter for 220v!
The smoke came from the switch not from the psu...i'm 90% sure that this ?!%?ing switch the problem, the power supplies work good (i can hear a buzzz signifing they work).
As you may know on 4 port the power comes from the switch, so...
I just have to find another working one to make some test...

I received too new fresh 5200 this morning and it was this ?%*?ing switch the problem! So now i can play with my 5200s......YES!
Not dead just wounded, i feel better!
