Difference between roms and bins?
Just out of curiosity, why are some cartridge dumps in rom files and other in bin files?
Are both type of files considered as original dumps or is it a situation similar as with atr and atx files?

That was probably a terrorist attack from the Republic of Commodoristan. Now seriously, glad to hear that no one was injured and that it looks like no data was lost. Atariage and Atarimania are the main Atari related sites that I visit (and also the best), and it would be a great loss to lose any of...

Re: Some questions about VAPI, AtariWin and Gamebase fronten
The project is still alive and we hope there will be some progress in the coming months. Some more images will be posted soon. Glad to hear that. Remember that although I cannot dump games, if you need my help trying to get games from Ebay or via donations just PM me. Quite simply because, in some ...

Some questions about VAPI, AtariWin and Gamebase frontend
Hi, 1. Is the VAPI project still alive? It's been quite a while since the last VAPI dump was posted. 2 Why is it that in some VAPI dumps both disks are ATX files (e.g. Conan, Gruds in Space) while in others (e.g. Mask of the Sun, Serpent's Star) only the first file is an ATX file and the others are ...

gamebase/atari800win help needed
I'm using the Gamebase frontend with Atari games and the Atari800Win+4.0 emulator. While I have no problems when starting and changing games in .atr or .atx files (they start directly when you select the game), if I try to do the same with cartridge (.rom) and cassette (.cas) files, I always get the...

Lucifer's Realm messed up graphics
I get messed up graphics if using the XL Bios. Using OS/B Bios shows correct graphics, but I don't know if using this Bios you can complete the adventure as I haven't been able to advance much yet.

Two small observations about the VAPI section
Hi, 1. I'm having no problems in loading any of the VAPI releases but Choplifter!. I have tried with OS/B and XL, but all I get is a blue screen. Anyone else having that problem? 2. The download available for Serpent's Star shows all disks as ATRs, and no disk as ATX. Otherwise, everything is perfec...

Hi, I think the problem is solved. I went to google and decided to search for it but entering only the name of the company and found this website: www.centrocte.com Look at the logo of this company. :D So it's definitely from Spain. I will try to contact them to see if they can provide some more inf...

Hi, don't you have a scan from the inside with the instructions (or any other text) or is the scan that you show the only reference that you have? I'm from Spain and could help as sometimes certain expressions differ between Spain and South America, but with the scan you have, it's impossible to tell.

Hi, thanks for fixing the link for those games and for your information about the Ebay game. Regarding the Quasimodo dump, it says Synapse in both, unlike in Blue Max or Alley Cat where Synapse is replaced by the Synsoft name. Do you want me to send you the one that is different to the one you offer...

Hi, once again a couple of questions for the expert collectors out there. In the scans of the Channel 8 catalog published a few days ago the Mysterious Adventures are listed as being text only on cassette and with graphics on disk. Did Channel 8 release any of those adventures on disk? I have only s...
